The studio employs traditional finishing techniques such as smoking, blackening, burning, bleaching, and coloring with natural dyes. They avoid chemicals and synthetic substances, using only natural oils and waxes. The beeswax they use comes from a local beekeeper and is purified in their workshop.
Moss Studio crafts each piece meticulously in their small woodturning workshop. The studio releases a limited collection of unique pieces annually, all turned from freshly cut, solid logs on their lathe.
