PHILIPP WEBER ON COLOURS GLASS VESSEL NO.25 H10.3" x Ø4.5"
PHILIPP WEBER
By developing a new trumpet-inspired glassblowing pipe, Weber is able to shape the inner cavities of the glass. The several valves at the top of the pipe create a variety of air chambers inside the glass. The separated spaces inside the glass make for multiple light refractions. By applying colours on each chamber these refractions create a chromatic mingle, at times deceiving the perception.
