The IKE Collection is a study in tactility and form, rooted in echoes of ancient craft. Each piece draws on carving traditions of early civilizations, where objects were shaped to carry both function and ritual weight. Surfaces are hand-tooled, gouged, or fluted, allowing light to move across the grain of the wood with a shifting rhythm. Natural materials define the palette: richly grained timbers, honed marbles, and upholstery in linen, suede, or leather. The construction is direct and architectural, yet softened by sculptural gestures, rounded legs, carved volumes, and textures that speak to the hand as much as the eye. At once grounded and expressive, the collection balances strength with refinement. Furniture becomes more than utility; it becomes artefact, timeless, enduring, and alive with the memory of touch.
